Niclas Jonsson

Niclas Jonsson is a senior consultant at Exprimo. He was born in Sweden 1966. Niclas obtained his M.Sc. in pharmacy and his PhD from the University of Uppsala. His PhD focused on population PK/PD modeling with emphasis on the methodological aspects of model building. After a postdoc period in San Francisco with Professor Lewis Sheiner, Niclas returned to the Department of Pharmacokinetics and Drug Therapy at Uppsala University, where he held consecutive positions as senior lecturer in Biostatistics, researcher and senior lecturer in Pharmacometrics. In 2005 Niclas joined Hoffmann-La Roche as Global Head of Modeling & Simulation, being responsible for the clinical pharmacology M&S group. Niclas joined Exprimo in 2007. In addition to his drug development experience, Niclas holds a professorship in Applied Pharmacometrics at Uppsala University. He is the author or co-author of more than 40 original research articles. Niclas lives in Sweden.
